The website
The public website doesn't use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and Cloudflare, our host, handles every request to the site. If you email us, we use your email only to reply and to work with you.
The client portal
If we invite you to the portal, we keep what you and we put into it to run your project: your name, email and company; business and billing details your company's main contact enters (such as legal name, ABN, billing address, phone and invoice email); project briefs, files, comments, approvals and notes; and invoices. Your password is never stored, only a salted one-way hash of it. One cookie keeps you signed in, and it's only used for that.
Where it's kept
Portal information and files are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts the site. Portal emails (invites, updates, invoices) are sent through Resend. If you share a Google Drive link in the portal, the file stays in Google Drive and is shown to the people on your project through the portal.
Google Calendar
The portal connects to Denim Vision's own Google account to keep a “Denim Vision” calendar of shoot days, edit days and meetings, and to make Google Meet links for meetings. It asks Google for two things only: permission to create and manage that one calendar, and to see when the account is busy or free. It can't read the details of any other events. This information is used only to show the studio's schedule, avoid double bookings and send meeting details to the people invited. Denim Vision's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It isn't sold, used for advertising, or shared with anyone except as needed to run the portal. The studio can disconnect Google at any time, which removes the stored access.
Applying to join our crew
If you apply through our careers page, we keep what you send (your name, contact details, location, roles, portfolio and Instagram links, day rate if you give one, and what you tell us about yourself) so we can consider you for work, and the team may add notes. Ask us and we'll delete it.
Who sees it
Only the Denim Vision team and the people invited to your project. We don't sell personal information or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep project information while we work together and for as long as needed for our records (for example invoices). Ask us and we'll delete your portal account and anything we don't need to keep.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with its date.
